Clean tech solutions are the key to a cleaner, greener future! Join the Noyyal Bhavani program, initiated by WWF-India's Rivers, Wetlands & Water Policy division, and discover the latest sustainable solutions for the textile industry. The program has successfully engaged with 50 textile units, focusing on five value-chain operations of textile production (Spinning, Knitting, Dyeing, Printing, and Garmenting), with a particular emphasis on Dyeing/Finishing units due to their high freshwater requirements.
Through the program, industries have identified 498 opportunities for improvement in seven segments, including Energy, Water, Materials, Productivity, Renewable Energy, Safety & Sewage Treatment. The program has estimated energy savings of 34 Lakh kWh/Annum and water savings of 3.81 Lakh KL/Annum, resulting in significant economic benefits for enrolled industries.
The program provides technical training, vendor engagements, and improvement plans tailored to the specific needs of each industry, helping them achieve sustainability goals while remaining economically viable.
